Snippets of Wisdom from the Late Ed Lundwall

In 2013, Edward Lundwall met with two friends, Hope Rapson and Alice Linsley, in Rossville, Georgia. They met for brunch, and after the meal, they went to Ed's study where his friends saw the extent of his writings on discipleship.

There was an entire wall with floor-to-ceiling shelves filled with notebooks. As we chatted and perused the volumes, Hope and Alice realized that this dear disciple of Jesus Christ deserved a wider readership. Hope was an English teacher and Alice had experience with blogs. The plan was to make Ed's writings accessible to people beyond his own church.

Many of Ed's writings on discipleship and discipleship training can be accessed using the INDEX.

Today, we are offering some snippets of Ed's wisdom. These are taken from some of his writings.

"The experience of Jesus Christ's magnificence is the foundation of the transformed life."

"To experience greater fulfillment and development as a disciple one must hear the message of “Behold the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the World!”

The true disciple of Christ will speak as Samuel humbly responded to the voice of God: “Speak Lord; for your servant hears!”
