Thank you, heavenly Father, for today, even though we are overwhelmed, our hearts are
aching, and our spirits are heavy. Let our struggles only increase our thirst for your quenching
Holy Spirit’s presence. We know that you are with us and never forsake us. Remind us, God, of
all the ways you have been faithful to us and all the mighty things you have done, even the
middle of struggles. Your love is constant, and you are our only continuing hope. We trust you,
Lord, know that you are working all things for our good. Empower us to praise your name even
when our hearts are grieving because we are praying in the mighty, wonderful, and holy name
of Jesus Christ. Amen
