Psalm 145 acknowledges God's greatness, sovereign power, righteous acts, and compassion. David declares his intention to continually praise God and encourages others to do so.

Lord, our most gracious King---
We come before you today to glorify your holy name, and surrender our hearts to you,
because You alone are worthy. Your greatness is beyond all understanding.
Your power and majesty stretch beyond time. Your goodness reaches every soul.
You open your hand and fill us with good things. You are righteous in all your ways, gracious
and compassionate. You are faithful in all you do; slow to anger and rich in steadfast love.
Lord, you are near to all who call on You,
lifting those who fall and upholding all who are bowed down.
You satisfy the desires of every living thing,
And are attentive to the cries of your people.
Generation after generation declare your mighty acts.
Your dominion is everlasting and enduring through time.
Lord, may we remember these truths each day.
Help us reflect your heart, your justice, kindness, and mercy.
Shape us into people who live and love like you do.
You alone are our portion, our strength, and our heart song.
Let every word from our lips and every breath we take exalt you.
May your people go out into the world proclaiming your greatness,
Living as reflections of the King and Almighty God you are.
Amen.
